Re: 73-74 bowtie

I love the widened rear wheels (and possibly front too?) and stock hub caps.

The white bumpers are a nice touch, why did you lose the chrome ones...or chrome front one? Glad the back bumper was replaced.

This might be my favorite truck on the board.

Re: 73-74 bowtie

I'm with Jeff. It really caught my eye on the short bed thread. That could almost be Clifford's cleaner twin.

Your truck is clean as it gets. Nice Job! Any pics of the interior?

Re: 73-74 bowtie

Yezzi, Sorry to burn this grille emblem thread but that NOS grille makes that truck! That truck is my favorite and ironically I was so intrigued with it I am basically building a 74 Cheyenne Super in that color combo from another truck we got in Phoenix in late October. Would love to see some more of the motor and interior. I believe it was a 350 2 barrel.
Thanks, Mark

No worries, it's about to head in another direction any way.

Looking at this post and others, I see several different colors in the headlight bezels. What year trucks came with what color in the bezel? I thought 73-76 had light gray, and 77-80 were black. What is correct?

Here is Yezzi 79 that has the light gray, and his 76 that has black.

KMK454 is a 78 with light gray-

I have a nice 454 emblem that needs a good home for a 73/74 grille if any one needs it.

I think it is the other way around Ken, the early ones I thought were black, later grey.

Re: 73-74 bowtie

Here's my old trusty spotters guide, but I don't think it's 100% accurate. I guess I will have to dig our my sales brochures to confirm what years had what.
