My 13 yr old wants to start looking for a truck for him, 3 yrs before he can drive.
But I think like your 15 yr old, building a truck would be good experience for him, and me too...

Sad thing is, this old beater in these pics is the one I wish I woulda kept. It was a haggered short fleet, but turned into a super fantastic driver.
My 15yr old and I swapped 72 C10 dr spindles, shocks, 3.08 posi 5-lug, adj trac etc. I was proud of how much my 15yr old did himself.
But some crazy older guy offered me dumbass money for it in Columbus at GGs.

wow, that one brings back memories of my dad's old '64 short/fleet...it was the same faded blue (no primer) with white bumpers/grille & the same camper top...i remember many good times riding around in that thing as a kid....even took a trip to Orlando (from North MS) with my brother and I riding in the bed equipped with an air mattress and small electric oscillating fans mounted inside the topper

i believe you're correct...looks the same to me too! unfortunately i don't have any info...i can't even remember where i saw that pic when i saved it....was thinking it was from a for-sale ad i came across on Searchtempest, but i could be mistaken...i remember you mentioning that truck in the "most original" thread, but i didn't realize (until now) that the pic i have is the same truck
