Haha Rick that's awesome, who needs Carter Hickman.

Man that truck of yours is too nice to change, even I would think twice. (then I would do it).

He has a sweat shop full of kids working out back under the awning. They don't get to eat until they assemble a whole chassis... correctly!

Re: Blackbird

Delmo,... amazing work.
Every part you add is perfect.

I have a question about the wheel/tire combo.
What backspace do you use front and rear?
Also what rearend is in this truck?
Original with 5-lug conversion axles,... or a 71-72 5-lug rearend?

Also,... the tire height/sidewall height,... "front to rear" is perfect.
What size tires? 255/40-20s and 265/40-22's?
(sorry for all the questions)

Re: Blackbird

Thanks man, no problem with questions at all.

Same backspace front and rear, mainly because these wheels only come in one BS. I think it's 5", I'll find out for sure.
6 lug diff out of the 66 with 5 lug conversion axles. Fit's in the bed perfect.
The rear tires are 265/40/22 and measures in at 30 inches after it's mounted
The front I used 265/35/22 and it measures in at 29 inches. Also up front I used the CPP modular spindles to bring the wheel in .75 each side. The wheels are 22X9 so it doesn't hurt to have the extra space for turning these big steam rollers.
Any other questions fire away.

Re: Blackbird

Thanks for the repy.
I didn't realize those were 22's up front.
I'll be watching to see your driveshaft install in this chassis.
1-pc or 2-pc?

Re: Blackbird

Funny story, I scammed that painting from a cheap hotel somewhere and got my Tattoo artisit to paint the General and the ramps on it. It's so funny, people love it. I've been offered $500 bucks for it. LOL.
