Each Gauge has 2 needles one black, one red. I use the left gauge for each front wheel and the right gauge for the rear wheels.
I just finished a 63 pickup today, I will make a video of lifting and dumping tomorrow and post it.

Re: Attention All Air Baggers..

I assume the upper T fittings are supply air to the bags and the lower barbed fittings are exhaust. Where is the supply air to the valves? In other words, where does the air from the tank/compressor hook up?

The lower barbs on the above pics will go to the supply from the tank. The exhaust is in the valve itself, a small opening on the back of the valve is all it is.
The valve is normally closed, when moved up the valve opens between supply and delivery letting air flow to the bags. When pushed down it only exhaust the delivery side, letting the air out of the bags. Quite simple actually.

Re: Attention All Air Baggers..

Do most guys running these run exhaust lines out of the cab through the floor pan?

The exhaust purges internally @ the paddle valve on the RideTech units; so no. I'm not sure about the other choices.

I was thinking one of them had a barbed fitting for the exhaust. If so, it would be possible to 'T' them together to 1 'exhuast' line that routes to the exterior.

It stinks about as long as one of your buddies farts if there's a bunch of moisture in the tank/s. If you don't jack w/the pressure often, it's definitely acceptable for the 1K+ savings .

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Attention All Air Baggers..

I'm sold on this setup, just have to figure what size line to run from the tank to the paddles, 3/8 which I have or 1/2 which I'd have to buy. I'm not looking for a fast fill or drop. Maybe spend the saved money on good filter/dryer for the system.

I'd wondered about that, kind of like someone has deflated a tyre inside the cab.....
Mind you if it smelt anything like some of my buddies....i'd be worried!

You wouldn't need 1/2 inch, way overkill running 1/8" valves. Just use the 3/8 that you have.

From full dump it takes about 5 sec to fill, but I never go to full dump. I let the air out till I feel the truck hit the bump stops. And yes I just aired it up till I liked the ride hight looked at the pressure and go to that number every time. On my manifold I have a 1/2 feed from the tank so I know I have pleanty of supply. The 2 black Y fittings are feeding the switches. Then from the switches it goes to a tee fitting one side to the bag of choice and the other side to the guage. on the bottom side of the mainfold I have 3/8 fittings going to the bags. I also put my pressure switch into the mainfold. Yes the air does exhaust into the cab I see no way around it, but it isn't bad at all you don't even notice

Re: Attention All Air Baggers..

The only problem I found is the line fit on the barb. When I was first building my systen I found small leak at the barb. By small it would leak down about every 4-3 days. To fix that I used some saftey wire around the hose and barb with good results. I have no smell in the cab from the exhaust. I recomend using some type of mainfold to keep the hoses from rubbing going thru the cab. If you need help with a mainfold PM me and I can get you a diagram.

I slightly enlarged a pre-existing hole in the floor by the in-cab gas tank, bundled all the air lines together, wrapped them in tape, & seated them in a grommet through the floor. On another one, I used one of those firewall grommets that has multiple 1/4" holes.

Ya that works too: I just got bord at work one night and made the mainfold. Bulkhead connectors would work also.

i like how that system uses push connect fittings instead of hose barbs. Where do you get something like that?

Re: Attention All Air Baggers..

Would anyone be willing to post a video of these valves in action? Maybe a little run down of the install? Or if anyone knows of an existing video link out there? Thanks

It's a pneumatic valve. Air a bag up w/an airline & keep your thumb over the end of the air line to maintain the pressure. Want to lower the pressure in the bag? Take your thumb off the line (press the paddle switch down). Want to raise it back up? Add more air (press the paddle switch up).

Keep It Simple S......

Wow thanks for that....I get what and how that valves work (not rocket science)….but I have never seen them in action…speed…adjustability…..1/4” lines through a very small orifice makes me wonder what a dump and fill looks like?
