Me too, even if that ended up only being the frame, engine, glovebox door, a piece of stamped tin, and a piece of printed paper. Snatch it up. He wants somebody to tell him what it's worth

It's close about a 100 miles away too bad there's no pictures of the condition back then , Looks like he wanted $3,200 in 2011 for it ? I wonder how much the price went up after sitting outside another 7 years sinking in the mud

Re: Original Truck Vinyl Top????????

That truck should make you really happy then, er, ah, uh, does being grumpy make you happy?

All kidding aside, I used to tell my family that's how you could tell if my dad felt good.

When he was *****in' about something.

Well.... since the mud was on the SPID, it ain't factory, so as an PO added option, I'd wouldn't pay much extra if anything... it is a rare one indeed, would probably kick yourself if it slips too deep into the mud and completely disappears from sight!

Best of luck to whomever ends up being its savior from the mud!

Re: Original Truck Vinyl Top????????

I have my "pile 'o patina" but it's sitting next to the blast cabinet

I'm chasing parts now for trucks I won't start on for 2 years let alone the ones I'm neck deep in . I have to have every nut/bolt/screw/emblem/gasket/etc/etc waiting to assemble as soon as it's painted and ready . It would drive me nuts to be chasing and waiting for parts after it's painted , The paint and body is the easy part ,Chasing all the pieces to reassemble completely is the hard part . I spend weeks if not months restoring the original pieces and this Vinyl top truck wouldn't be any different .

I was there to buy an nos right fender and inner fender for one I've been working on. I will be back over there soon as he had some other parts that I'm interested in and I'll see what he's looking to get for it and try to snap a few more pics of it.
A pic of the SPID would be awesome... try to sneak that one in.
