i haven't posted in a while i have been very busy with work and school not getting as much work done now that summer is over. i made a good find and found a 61 in the junk yard and i took the grille valve cover and hood emblem. we painted the chassis and motor got some tires for my wheels and mounted the cab.

thanks i am starting to do some of the fab work to. i can see why noone keeps the torsion bars its was alot of work i shoulda just went with the air bags thats what im doing in the back

ordered almost all the of the small parts and interior parts that parts i need from classic truck parts of America and got airbags from airbagit.com. i owe my dad alot of money now

My son turns 16 next April, so I am thinking about asking him if he wants to come spend the summer with me, and starting a project like this for his first rig... Keep it up, you and your dad are building more than just a truck....

Work is going a lot slower now that im working and going to school. i started to sandblast the box myself but then it started to snow so i got that done the box is all primed now it need alot of work its in rough shape. Also we got the steering all together and working now.

i really like the appreoach to the front suspension. and i liked the blue on the motor but the red/gray combo looks better. keep it up, this truck motivates me.
