I picked up new front springs( made in the U.S.A.). I did not know how worn the old ones were until I had them out, rear bushings completely gone and spring hole worn egg shaped, should make a big difference! Will pull back ones after the holidays.

Had lifter collapse... replaced all lifters and changed manifold and carburetor

Yes It is the original - I had to cut about an 1.5 inches off all the way round so that I had clearance.
