stock mirror on the drivers side is pretty worthless with the side mounted spare
(as i learned here) chevy added the peep mirror along with the stock mirror to see over the spare though i didn't have as much problem with stock mirror until i put a P235/70R15 on an 8'' rim up there according to the assembly manual, they also added a 3/8 shim under the drivers rear spring to make up for the added weight of the spare.

oh well both fenders are finally done enough to hang outta the way...doors are coming off next to get new bottoms ..after that its onto the suspension before i yank the cab off...

wondering if priming the inside of the door and hitting it with some rubberized under coating would be a good idea..any thoughts?

started doing the chassis work...well my buddy started doing the chassis and suspension work..don't trust my fabricating enough to weld on my frame...besides he has a shop and has done this kind of stuff before

so I decided to ditch the late model smallblock and go with a 235..picked this one up from a guy who had it and the ironglide trans completely rebuilt ..got a great deal on it and couldn't pass them up...besides I like the way they sound

still trying to decide on the carbs i'm going to use...probably buy some from langdons...and I am thinking either a t-5 trans or a 200 4r...probably sell the trans..anyone know what these are going for rebuilt?
