Re: 73-74 show off

since I switched to buckets, I covered my entire back section in carpet so those ribs are hidden. I had to find an old pic to see the difference.

Re: 73-74 show off

Maybe it depended on what factory built the cab?

I changed the vin tag on my 78 when I swapped cabs and I guarantee you would not be able to tell it has been swapped.

Re: 73-74 show off

Here's my 1973 Chevy C20 Custom Deluxe pick up! It originally came with a 350 4v w/ manual tranny and 14 bolt rearend but some where down the line somebody put a 1976 454 4v w/ T400 tranny! Excellent swamp, the 454 w/ T400 and 14 bolt rearend are a great combo! Is the baby blue & white a factory color combo?

THIS IS WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE WHEN i FIRST GOT IT:

Re: 73-74 show off

1974 GMC that I built for my brother's Implement dealership in 1986. Basically started with a frame with axles and built off of that.
Truck has an 86 cab, 83 front clip, Western plow , four cylinder air compressor on the engine with four air tanks mounted underneath the truck.
355 and th400 with a 205 transfer case, she has done her duty through the years. Always parked inside when not in use but she was handled rough because of so many different people driver her through the years. NowI have the truck and am outfitting it for my lawn cutting/ plowing side jobs.
In 1990 she even had the misfortune to roll over on the drivers side, took it like a trouper.
