Re: Scotts hotrods 67 shop truck

Updates

1.We are waiting for our new wheels and I will say they are 12 inches wide on all 4 corners

2.We Just got our motor back from being all tuned and we have installed the injection on the motor.

3.Last and most important we are slammed at the shop and have a few MAJOR BUILDS going on and we have Sema coming up.We have a 56 ford that will be debut at the show.We have just hired 4 more guys to add to our crew.We have to take care of our customers FIRST then our toys will get done.

4.Most of all we will not cut any corners on our two trucks we are building as our shop trucks period.

Re: Scotts hotrods 67 shop truck

What was behind the decision to use the same size wheel in all the corners?

Re: Scotts hotrods 67 shop truck

The brackets we are running on the motor are from March performance. The pullies are from them to.

For the same size wheels on all 4 corners. We are going to be using this truck for some serious driving and track time.We wanted to have a very wide tire on the front for a better handling abilities

Re: Scotts hotrods 67 shop truck

They still have a lot of builds going on in their shop. I have seen the truck in person, though, and even though it wasn't all put together, it was pretty impressive. He's finishing up on mine now and I will post on it, as well as try to get some pictures of his truck when I am down there.

Re: Scotts hotrods 67 shop truck

The fuel tank, we built for this truck. The tank does have a efi pump installed in the tank and the tank is a 20gal.The tank mounts were welded on to allow the tank to sit higher in the frame. So there is now way the ground could come in contac with the tank. The material we use for our fuel tanks.Series 3000 120 wall aluminum sheet. All of our tanks have baffels in them.
