Were there any problems when you switch over to 17's?..you've had three sets of wheels on this truck, right?
Technically, yes. When I first got my truck, it was still 6-lug and had 4x4 rallies on it. When I converted to 5lug, I put some 17" TTII's, then went to the 15" Hopsters, then last Oct. I got this newer set of TTII's

I don't want to highjack a thread but I want some info.

I haven't been able to get these wheels out of my head since I saw them on here. It took me a couple hours to figure out which thread I saw them in.

Do you have any idea whose truck this is?!? I would like to ask him a few questions about the combination.

Re: Wheels; Wheels; and more Wheels...

I photoshopped the wheels that I am gonna run on my truck once I get home and measure what backspacings I want... Intro Speedstar 18x8 front, 20x9.5 rear
Not a very experienced photoshopper though. LOL

Re: Wheels; Wheels; and more Wheels...

I bought the Weld Pro Stars on this truck from a board member, planning to put them on a truck I was buying, but the sale didn't go through after we couldn't agree on a price. So, the wheels sat in my parts for about a year, until I finally put them on this short truck!

Re: Wheels; Wheels; and more Wheels...

...I guess at my age I should know this but how do I determine the off-set and backspace measurments for ordering all these different sizes/ styles/ brands of wheels? I've seen picture guides showing where and how to measure them but
I thought the bolt-hole pattern and hub center was all I needed..
Please help!

DHAYMAKER-Your truck looks awesome! Is that the original color, just alot shinier than GM could have made it? That is close to the original color of my truck, and some days I wish I would have revived it...

Thanks MRINO..yeah, I've seen those charts and guides..I understand HOW the measurements are obtained..but when I go to order the wheel..say A/R Hopster15"x8" and knowing my bolt pattern and center hub size..how can I tell the dealer what the Off-Set and Backspacing is when all I have is the original factory wheel..how do I know what will fit my '72 C10 2wd
I know I sound a little dense but I just can't grab this.
You can tell I've never bought custom wheels..Thanks!

Thanks! I just realized that I don't have many side shots.

This was the first day I sat behind the wheel and took it for a drive

This was when I considered the project "finished" (never happens)
