That's the rule in question for those wondering
And Mel's been doing a GREAT job keeping everyone updated about who's in line.

Thanks everyone for keeping things civil and Mel for offering some nice, hard to find parts at very fair prices

VA, no problem as I thought that I was doing a good at job keeping everything fairly straight on who was in line and who had paid for what and then *Ka-Pow* this issue with 1971short4x4 came up. I had outlined in great detail and explained fairly well what had happened with 1971short in post #42 of this wtb thread, most guys would have said tough luck "you seen the pics, you said yould take and then you sent payment". I have offered to try and sell the first tin to another in-line member and even also offered to just refund his paypal payment and move on which he said no to. I am boxing up your buzzer and harness now, is the address that paypal sent me along with payment confirmation uptodate? Mel

Ok just what i need on a monday morning going to a 8 am meeting....here's the deal

Deal was done on post #41, i now own a 69 sw head, tin w/grounding clamp, adjustment cable and dash cover for location of hole, once Classic Bowties submits the invoice to my paypal.

I am not building a showtruck, so i can give up the 69 tin for the 67, if Mel will blast it and sell it to me for 50.00 as he said he would....

Alright, is everyone happy on the left coast?

Ok folks, lets move along, nothing happening here

Tell me about it!!!
Jaros, sorry deal was not done in post #41, you called out/got in line for the parts listed there but WES/Classic Heartbeat was first up for a tin before you so the call to give up the 69 s/w rear tin is not yours to make as you are behind him. Next up on your above qoute, nowhere did I say that I would blast it AND sell it to you for 50.00, if you re-read post #50 you will see the posted pm was the offer to sell the 67 s/w rear tin at a discounted amount to a less picky dash builder (SO WE COULD ALL MOVE ON) and it would not include the speedo head grounding clip and mounting screws. Mel

No problem, in the big picture he was 2nd inline for a tin setup so the choice was his. Yes there is a tin available now that Wes has made the call, as I had stated in post #50, if you want the first as listed 67 s/w rear tin without the (pictured in post #6) little head grounding strap and screws then I will discount it to $50. and then go ahead and invoice you for the 67 rear tin, the 69 s/w speedo head & the 69 s/w adjustment cable. Les, thank you too for a simple speedy transaction. Glad everything arrived safely, like I had originally said all of these were nice OE S/W parts in tested & working condition. Thanks again and I look forward to any future dealings with you, Mel.

OH NO NOT AGAIN!

Jaros, no its all straight if you have a look at post #65, I updated each parted cluster with who got what and you got the discounted 67 rear s/w tin. I sent Wes the extra one that had a hole drilled in the center tach area as it's going to be going on a s/w tach cluster anyhow. Mel
