Re: Edelbrock 1406 Chevrolet 350
I just had to dial mine (1411) back to just under 4psi to break the cam in. Tomorrow I will be doing the carb tune/dial in. I have a rich condition now but I think it will tune out ok.

Re: Edelbrock 1406 Chevrolet 350
One of the round shaped mr gasket fuel regulators ruptured and burnt an older gentlemens 49 ford? moonshiners cars engine bay burnt the paint on the hood and a little in the cab (firewall)
I got a holley (summit brand) regulator from summit for like $25?

this is the one i have you can also get it in black (If I had to do it again I'd put a edelbrock fuel pump on it or a holley carb)

Re: Edelbrock 1406 Chevrolet 350
This is where I should have been posting all along! I'm having some weird problems with my 1406 bogging down randomly during normal driving. I'm planning to do a rebuild of it. My fuel pressure seems ok and it isn't boiling, but I think the choke plate keeps slapping closed smothering it... Also someone earlier mentioned that they couldn't get rid of an off idle stumble, take a look at this thread. It helped me out a ton! The stumble isn't a jet or rod problem, it's a spring problem!!
