Re: 1967 cst I picked up today
Nothing really new. New tires, removing unnecessary wiring, general cleanup. There is so much desert sand in this thing it's insane!!!

Re: 1967 cst I picked up today
The engine and bay is the worst part about the truck. Someone at some time thought it would be cool to spray paint the rad support, the cap to the master and the brake booster a bright red color. Not to mention the finned valve covers and pep boy air cleaner!!!

Re: 1967 cst I picked up today
never seen an 67 a/c 327 with air injection on it. i would like to see pictures of the mounting brackets on this truck. I may someday try to find the correct 67 air injection just cause.

Re: 1967 cst I picked up today
Rick, no good pics yet of engine and interior. Still tryin to get it cleaned up. I have been working on the paint while waiting for parts. I drove it to the arco swap today. Runs really good, but at idle it starts to break up and die. The q jet is filthy and in dire need for some attention. I scored these wheel covers for it today and here is a shot of the roof portion waiting for final polish..

cant wait to see more pics once the whole truck is blue! One of my current builds is a 67 GMC cst 327/TH400 factory 508 blue. Looks like our trucks are brothers (one chevy one gmc)

Re: 1967 cst I picked up today
I always ask whenever buying anything. I assume you are reffering to the AIR stuff? I am replacing the driver front fender as of today. I found 2 keys unused in an old hide a key under the fender in the engine compartment side. I thought that was pretty neat.
Posted via Mobile Device someone had mentioned an interior shot. Here is one I have from last weekend cleaning up the inside a bit.

My truck has a bad repaint job covering up the original paint and I would love to take it off. Interested in your thoughts and how you're doing it. Thanks, and cool truck!

Re: 1967 cst I picked up today
More blue!!! One panel at a time. I had to fake out a bit of blue on the ends of the cowl vent. There was some paint missing from some holes that were filled from something mounted. The color match isn't great but with some more knocking down, dirt and sun it should look pretty good.
