We had a guy come to our shop one day with "VA SUCKS" ......I don't have a clue how he managed to get that through the DMV.

"MYWAVE" - Have to be from Cali..
"OVLDOSE" - On a 1955 VW Oval window beetle with a turbo...
"GRRR8" - Tony the tiger would be proud
IATEAV8 - On another VW with a turbo. (over 400 hp)
"OSU" - If you speak japanese this will make sense... Got rid of it because everyone thought I was from Oaklahoma! - replaced with with "GENKI"
"LT1SRUL" 95 Z28...

This is the plate for my Son's '70 GMC..Not personalized but the 69 stamp is pretty cool. Nevada is very lax on plates. You own the plates. In other words, when you sell a car you keep the plates. The last time these were registered was in 1971. When I finish his truck I will register it with these.

This plate was isseued to me by the DMV. About six months later, all of the people that had these plate sequence issued to them got a letter saying they were being recalled and they had to return them. I had already sold the truck and just held onto the plates. I'm not a racist but I guess some folks took offense to them.

Mine say Bad-4x4 on the 70 4x4 project, The ones on my friends 65 ss impala say RU-CHKN and on My dads 66 SS chvelle say BAD-66 I tried getting BAD-69 for a 1969 swb pro street truck we had but DMV said it was sexual. What do they know...

my old boss had "dickm2" dmv gave him the run around about it,it took him 6 months to convence them,its because his name was dick meyer,and they had told him at the personal plate desk dickm1 was taken already.also i have heard of but not seen one with "upnu"

Frankly, I got a little tired of the "standard" vanity plates. That's why I went with "ERROR" (see avatar). First, I'm a programmer. Second, it gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling to think that somehow and somewhere it will wreak havoc with the state's computers. Unlikely, sure... but I sleep a little better at night!
