awesome build, kudos for keeping it factory stock, got a question im asking this cuz I noticed ur PG case apart and ur perty painted finish with the same auto selector levers as I have, so I finally got a roller and noticed my powerglide kickdown lever, the one on the case is in a odd position when I manually put it in park it will bind with the lever/rod thingy, is it a simply fix to remove the kickdown lever from the case a just move its position and slide it back into the case? pics of my to follow

Thanks guys, will your PG linkage not rotate up anymore. If it won't you may have to drop the pan and pull it out and reposition it. I think the kickdown linkage won't be long enough where its at , but I am not a powerslide expert.

thks for the responds, it was rebuilt by a friend of a friend, when I sent it out it wasn't in that spot so when I got it back I didn't think twice bout it, and it sat for a few months til I installed it last month. the rod is long enough but when the rod is attached, the automatic gear lever part will hit the rod and wont fully engage into park, I was thinking I needed to go into the trans, I got a PG rebuild video online. ps wish me luck im not afraid,just don't wanna spend good cash after such a crazy long build having someone fix my messup. thks again...

With my neighbor's help we flipped the cab back upright. I spent a few more hours on a grinder, hung a door to make sure everything would fit for final rocker panel welding. I just have to POR15 all the inner rocker stuff and weld them up.

Sorry , I keep forgetting but these were inline tube brake lines, I hope this is what you needed.

Thanks guys, found a use for the 33.00 rocker that didn't fit worth a crap.

Cleaned up the holes in the floor that someone hacked in for seatbelts. Had to use a 1/2" knock out cutter to clean up the holes and then cut some plugs and welded them up.

wish my garage was as clean, glad ur making progress. I have another question I would like some help on. The larger hole on the firewall next to where the speedo and e-brake goes through the firewall is that for a clutch rod? I have an auto so if you know, does a rubber grommet cover that or what?

There should be a rubber grommet, this was an auto truck also.

Woohoo, after probably 200 hours of labor my floors are finally finished and ready for paint.

Now onto the next hack job, I wonder if people realize how many hours it will take to fix stuff like this in the future.

If you're referring to those who hacked, I'm sure they could care less! Glad mine wasn't hacked much, but I do have at least one questionable "modification."

Paint won't fly until the speaker holes are fixed, then block out back panel and prime.

Its looking good! One small area at a time, at least there aren't any 6x9s cut into the doors too!

Had a half hour before dinner so knocked this out, Cut the hole, templated it and got it welded in.
