My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

What'll it be next weekend, a long stepside bed swap?

Re: Back to the dark side.....1965 GMC longie.

It's still around, I've been cruising in it daily, only phone calls from tire kickers lately but, the longer I have it the the more I want a short bed to cut it down, that way it's easier to parallel park.

Re: Back to the dark side.....1965 GMC longie.

Man I love the way it looks. My next truck will be a 60-66 chevy/gmc c10 short or longbed. In my opinion I think the 60-66 chevy/gmc look best in long bed. love the body lines on those trucks.

No other projects at the moment, although I have been looking, I did meet a gentlemen 2 weeks ago in his ninety's that had a decent 66' small window "plain jane" who wanted top $ because it was "all original" I had to walk away, he couldn't understand that at almost 60 years old the truck could be a little tired and $7,500 was a little to much, other than looking for a bed nothings new here.

Thanks, I'm still a shorty fan, I think the GMC's have the better looking hoods of the two (Chevy/GMC) 60-66 styles, I really love the look of the GMC parking lights.

Merry Christmas to all!!!!
