Hey thanks on the 350 I was on some z28 site and there was just way to much info. Looks like it is not the original motor, ( that's what I thought) the guy at Jegs thought it was. I found an 1 and 3/8 and a 1 and 5/8 open end wrench at Harbor Freight this weekend but now that it is all apart I need a firm way to hold it.

I used the bench vice at work to hold the control arms, and a really big adjustable, piece of pie

So bad news and some good news. The bad news, the PO broke of one the the upper timing cover bolts and silicones it in place. The good news, my compression is real good 155-170.
