Got these today one had high hump one has a tilt auto column both have gauge clusters one is shortbed one extra set of doors and a barrel fan shroud was in the back of one not sure what motors bought site unseen for $800 for the pair was almost dark and was in a hurry when I loaded them

thats what I said the more i looked I kept finding good stuff the shortbed and the tilt column are major scores for me and the barrell fan shroud just tops off the deal to cheapen them up just glad one was shortbed they barely fit on my trailer

thanks this is 3 trucks in 2 weekends and still need to go back and try to get 2 more from where I got my 61 he has a 65 I think 2 ton that has a tach cluster I want like I said its like a disease I have been running adds on craigslst for these trucks and my nephew seen these so I called and they were supposedly sold but the guy never called when he said he would so the gentleman called me up and said I could have them I told him I got cash but I am 2 1/2 hours away so assure me I can have them he said they are yours so we hooked up trailer and called said i am on my way the other guy called 11 mins later he told me and had cash but i got em my wife is hating this I have 9 trucks at the moment and scraped 3 last week after I stripped them bare

Drug the mustang home from Ventura, CA to San Diego. Had to use a friend's truck from Carson to Ventura and back because the 66 doesn't seat 3 anymore. But it did tow it like a champ from Carson to San Diego.

its ok I use my dodge to pull all my stuff my cummins will out pull my uncles duramax any day he hates that I can do it but I rub it in but really that looks like a dam nice car

well I know its not 60-66 but it was cheap its a ugly dont like this body style 68 lwb 2 wheel drive wife loves it guy said fuel pump was out but its hard to pump gas with none put in couple of gallons fired right up when I got it home got very very cheap $300 needs little stuff but I drove it down the road today needs clutch adjusted or replaced took off holley carb it was messed up to put on a different carb idles perfect now even has all 5 tires and wheels and wheel covers this makes 4 trucks in 3 weekends

The 3,4,$500 trucks have all but dried up since scrap got up around $200 a ton.
I happen to like that body style also and it just goes to show you can find a decent starter project for a good price if you look hard enough. Good find. |

thanks think I am gonna put a new clutch in it and pull starter kinda turns over slow with a good battery drive it a little make sure its road safe and try to sell it this spring even though wife likes it I got a 65 project to pay for thanks for the good words the guy I got it from needed rent money I offered less but we agreed on $300 was wanting $750 for the price I paid I didnt even care if it ran

yeah but yours looks better lot less rust I only bought mine to resell or part out then my wife says i like it and she loves 3 on the tree trucks how she learned to drive how many 30 yr old women can say that? so gonna keep it

ok I struck again 5 trucks in 4 weekends this is another one bought site unseen well have seen from the road been eyeing it for quit a while said I would buy it and a buddy of mine the guys neighbor loaded it up and brought it to me 8 miles away 64 1 ton thought it was weird it has 18" wheels
