Figured I would add my solution for making the long stepper look more like it should have when GM built it. Wanted to keep the long stepside, but didn't like quite a few things about how it looked, so I came up with an idea I have been toying with for a few years. Recently went for it. Here is where it is at.

Here's mine...
I wanted a shortbed but the longbed has grown on me. I like the 7 foot idea. I wonder if some of the later short beds were 6'5" for the same reason? Posted via Mobile Device |

I agree with what 64suburban4X4 said, But I favor the long bed fleetside and the short box stepside only cause I own both...LOL!
