Re: Total newb, found a chopped and channel forgotten project.

Sill have to finish back half frame of pFunk for a set and for the air ride. The front I fabbed all up has air cylinders in each fork. Front end is off a 1979 hondaxl500 the rear wheel not in pic is off the same xl500. I had a custom sprocket made to fit the cb360 chain and bolt up to the xl500 wheel.

I can weld and I think I'm pretty good at fabricating. Not scared to try nothing new with metal. I just like to study and know my task before attempt it.

Chopped and channeled. Had bags at one point front only is what I was told. I dig it. I feel it needs another chance.

I posted a small bit in suspension section as well

Few questions.

Can anyone help me be 100% sure the year. I did my own research. I found it to be a 71'. I just wanna be sure before I start the title process.

I wanna build this truck to a daily driver status. Static drop, maybe bags. We'll see. I'm lookin for straight 6 with the classic 3spd. I know I know I'll prolly catch some slack. But oh well. I wanna keep rear coil over as well.

So all this said people please give me some guidance.

Thanks
Brandon

In post #14 he said he traded it to a guy in the small town of Island, Kentucky. If the town is really small it shouldn't be hard to find it there.... Looks like the population is around 435 people.
