Pics as of today, we finished getting side walls on yesterday before snow storm, got 5 inches of wet snow last night, I shoveled it all out today and we got the inner side wall studs in today

Re: Well I bascially got my pad build for my building
Thanks Nate
Thanks Jess Sorry Joe, no lift, maybe at a later date, the ceiling is only 10 foot so it would have to be a mid lift is all, plus this has been a bit more expensive to do that I had originally thought I think he is going to try to start putting tin on roof Tues if its not windy Thanks Randy

Re: Well I bascially got my pad build for my building
Thanks Tom, I'm ready for warm weather for sure, the building will be alot easier on me instead of crawling around on the rocks, I did that for way to many years
Thanks rmvlt1100, I may have to do that if my wife sfinds out how much I spent on it to build He got the north roof on today, south will be on tomorrow. Hoping the outside trim will be all on by Friday night. Electrical should be done by Fri. I may insulate walls Sat and then once the tin comes in for the inside we will start putting it all up, then the lights, heater and garage doors next week. Then I have to get a load of gravel and get the dog fence put up and the gas meter ran to it by gas company. I'm going to wait and insulate the ceiling this summer I'm ready for it to be done, its wearing me out, no time to do anything Thanks again Randy

Nice looking shop Randy!!!
You don't have to give exact numbers but what kind of expense would someone need to plan for if they were to build a shop like this? Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Well I bascially got my pad build for my building
Looks great Randy! With that white interior you'll actually be able to see in there compared to the pitch black of your blacksmith's shed.
Now when are you going to get back to your real job and start parting??? |

Re: Well I bascially got my pad build for my building
Thanks Keith
Thanks Jeff, it was good to see you Sat orniskl, Thanks Thanks Ray Thanks Nate, I'll have to do all the figures, its alot more than I first thought Thanks Jess, its getting there, we have been on it for a month exactly, had 4 days in there he couldn't work because of weather Thanks David, the white tin is nice but its real light, its shows waves and inperfections, but once I get everything on walls you shouldn't notice it. Parting trucks is alot of easier than building a garage Thanks all, Randy

Re: Well I bascially got my pad build for my building
Well I got it all done except getting the heater mounted to ceiling, gas line run to main and insulate the ceiling (I'm doing that this summer). Started hauling in some of my tools and junk, still have to get my benches moved in and everything sorted out and put away. I'll get some pics this weekend when its sunny outside

Re: Well I bascially got my pad build for my building
Well I'm gaining on it, got the sod laid around it, got most of inside down, still have to hang all the tools up. I have to get heater vent ran outside and ceiling blown with insulation. Paint the fence, then I'm done
