Re: Duncan and Son pending deals and other.....

My dad and I are praying for you. He is 75 and sometimes when I get short with him, I have to remember he won't be here forever. I have been lucky that he has been in good health. My mom passed away in 2011 and he has had more emotional problems dealing with her loss after 52 years. I know I am am a long way from you even though you're in Texas, but if you need anything, let me know.

Jason - Prayers to your Dad, you and your family. Please let him know we're thinking about him. I went through this with my Mom about 2 and 1/2 years ago, so let me know if have questions or just want to talk sometime.

Wow Jason, I'm absolutely floored to hear this. I spoke with Paul a few weeks ago, and it's always amazed me how full of energy that guy is, and he's a walking encyclopedia on these trucks. He's such a great resource and friend as well.

My thoughts and prayers are with you guys as you work your way through this. I pray for a quick and thorough recovery, but I also pray that he will have patience to put up with the therapy. I just know he'll be chomping at the bit to get out doing what he's always doing.

All the best, and as Paul always says - we appreciate you!

Re: Duncan and Son pending deals and other.....

I don't mean to turn this into something about me, but if there is any way that anything postive can come of your family's situation, but after telling him about your dad, my dad and I had a long talk about spending more time with the family an appreciating what we have. You inspired me to have the neighbor snap a photo of us. We are praying for you.

Pete,
I don't mind, thanks for posting it. I remember that day. My dad had a kidney infection or something and was seeking your expert opinion. That was one of the few times I EVER remember him every being sick other than a cold or something.

Thanks to everone for their prayers, comments, thoughts, and their own testimonies. We appreciate all of them. I wish I could respond to all of the posts and PM's individually but this will have to work for now.

As for an update on Pop, His left side of his body has been affected by the stroke. He has answered every question that the doctors/others have asked almost perfectly, which is amazing because he sort of has a bad memory to begin with lol. I don't know the scale of severity but so far it looks like blockages, clots, bleeding out, heart promlem or renal problems may be ruled out. If so, it appears to be the classic case of prolonged high blood pressure. Please Please Please if you or a loved one has high blood pressure take it serious.

Hope to talk to y'all soon.......Jason
