My kind of build thread! Fast and to the point.
Very clean truck! I also vote for the fender emblems

Great job on the build Mike. Don't sell this one. I like the fender emblems as well.

Awesome truck. I couldn't help but notice our trucks look very similar...we even have the same wheels. What size are your tires?

Almost done. Waiting on new steering wheel. Drives like a dream.

Did you put a new cover on the seat and dash? If so where did you get them. By the way, looks super sharp.

Re: Project Whitey II - the "I wish I'd never sold it" build
The seat cover is from LMC, and they are easy to install. The dash pad is actually original to the truck. It was parked under a car port most of it's life which really helps the interior. The original seat cover still looked very nice but had a small split in it.
Thanks for the compliments! Mike

They are qlogic kick panels and I went with Alpine R series speakers.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1978-1987-GM...d4698e&vxp=mtr I went with a 15 inch Grant with black grip. Like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHEVELLE-CAM...38175b&vxp=mtr Thanks for the compliments! Mike

I agree that the replacement dashes are iffy at best. Mike

Long time no update. Unfortunately time to sell. Here's a video of one of the dyno runs.

Re: Project Whitey II - the "I wish I'd never sold it" build
Nice truck. I get the sell aspect of a build, I had a 77 as a kid and regret selling it, I never keep anything, but I also like selling vehicles. Good luck, you should get good money for it. What are gonna build next?
