beautimus.......... an old country way of saying beautiful or some what less than beautiful, (if you know what i mean) without commiting to tell someone what your really thinking.

like for example , if my wife asks me what i think about her new nail polishand it's a really ugly shade of purple or something, i just say "beautimus" and that way i tell the truth, and i don't get beat up..... heh heh heh.

HI folks, well my nickname for the burb comes from my oldest girl Annie. When her and I went to pick it up, the frist thing Annie said was, gee dad it looks like swiss cheese. That was because of all the rust, that and it had been in a really bad ancident. So the name has stuck ever since that day. But everone in the family just loves that old burb to death. And it still is the most faithful vehicle I've ever owned.

Another pilot!

All I have now is a Super Cub (with a 180). It's actually my dad's. I used to have a 150/150, but sold it, and my dad sold his 182 that I used a lot.

My nickname is not what you think. It's an abbreviation of a nickname I got a LONG time ago, that I had hoped the giver would forget, but didn't.

(my friends names are scumonteeth, hasnoscrupples & crazystomach...)

Cobalt Blue is my favorite color. One day my truck will be that color hopefully. Also, it's an element in the periodic table (from webelements.com):

Quote:
Name: cobalt
Symbol: Co
Atomic number: 27
Atomic weight: 58.933200 (9)

Cobalt is a brittle, hard, transition metal with magnetic properties similar to those of iron. Cobalt is present in meteorites. Ore deposits are found in Zaire, Morocco and Canada. Cobalt-60 (60Co) is an artificially produced isotope used as a source of g rays (high energy radiation). Cobalt salts colour glass a beautiful deep blue colour.

zoomy

Seeing how the pilots are replying, a high speed dive followed by a pullup (climb) is often called a zoom, so I called my raceplane "ZOOMY" (www.formulav.com). When I came on this board my real nickname was taken, so I used my racers name.

I got my nickname because thier is a little lou. my son stands three inches taller than me. he doesn,t like being called little lou being that he is 22year,s old has nothing to do with it. HEE HEE I wanted to use my age 52 but it was taken. so 55 is the age I hope to stop my second job of small engine repair that i do at home.

mocwon stands for Mach 1, the name I gave my 1970 Mach 1 restoration project a few years ago. It's a handle I can use just about everywhere since mach1, machone, etc are always taken.
