You'd better slow down with a full 660 days till you get your license! Working too fast! Nice job so far.

Very good! Welding is a great skill to learn early on. I just wish I had a change to learn to tig.

Cool can't wait for some pics!

He did indeed. It's a little out of range for me on price right now. Great deal just don't have the money. I'll unfortunately be spending a lot more in the long run buying pieces like I am. :/

Re: My Name is Rusty and I'm Addicted to POR

Just found this build, I am right down Twin cities in the sub division. I am working on my truck at my work in Rancho Cordova, but will have it home soon. Any updates?? good to see some people still pass on these skills to the younger generations, and that there are still young ones willing to lear. They are the future of hot rodding, wherever it may go. I hope to get my son interested in my truck, just as I was in my fathers. That's why I don't really want to completely build it up until he is ready to come out and get dirty with me. you guys seem to have it under control, but if you ever need help, I'm close.

Welding is a lot like sex, you don't have to be great with the rod as long as you thoroughly prep the surface and your good at grinding
