Not exactly a square but it is a 1977 GMC 6500 tilt cab dump truck with a tall deck 427.

Re: working squares lets see them

My 81 C20 resting after pulling this home last Wednesday. Right rear wheel cylinder went out and the turbo 400 needs a rebuild as 3rd gear does't hold under load. Had to increase the trailer break.

Thanks, that is a 78 Cutlass Supreme, my brothers and I built this for me my senior year in high school(1988-89). I sold it in the fall of 89. The owner that had let me have it for free to get it out of their yard, they are moving next spring. Anyway glad to see more posts on here, like to see these trucks hauling or pulling loads.

Shyguy, did you leave the visor on the truck? If so, why or why not. I have one that I have thought about putting on but just haven't decided yet. I think it looks good on your black one.

i wouldnt do a visor. guy i know had a lund one on a bronco. as you know you have to drill holes in the roof. he never could keep it from leaking. he also wound it up over 100 mph once and it ripped the screws out. he finally took it off welded up the holes and repainted the roof skin.

No Visors!!!!

had one on my wrecker and had a similar event with a big headwind and got to patch some holes and get my wadded-up visor out of the ditch!!!!

stories like that keep me from putting mine on.
not sure if a bouncing 4X4 is more stress then high speed air in the 4X2 lol
that and the truck mine came off was leaking from rusted mount hole
but a lot will say they are ok , they use "bonding glue/adhesive "
