Re: Carbon-10

My Boyd welding gas tank came in and I also got the rear brakes installed. I also had to do some winter cleaning and bring the Impala in for the winter.

Re: Carbon-10

Got the new dropmember installed and did a little body work to back of cab my body guy was amazed how bad the back panel under the window was. He said it was real wavy and on the passenger side was flat at the corner and the rear cab molding had a huge gap so he had to cut and pull the metal near the the window now it will line up almost perfect. I had him do it this way just in case I decide to run moldings. Also got rid of windshield wipers now it will have to remain a California car lol

Re: Carbon-10

I was able to work on the truck this weekend, and go pump some lead down range too. I had to modify the bracket for my gas tank. We also fooled around with the dash board set up.

Re: Carbon-10

Has any one ran a bag spacer on a PB drop member? My frame when fully deflated touches the ground and while I know that's what it is intended to do but on bag failure this could be a huge problem if I ran a 2" spacer this would give me a 1"-1.5" clearance. from the ground. your thoughts??? btw I'm running Slam Specialties SS series

Re: Carbon-10

Instead of a bag spacer, why not set up a bump stop that can be adjusted for what ever aired out stance you want? If a bag fails, you would ride on the bump stop safely.

Just another thought. That why at a show, you could adjust the stop to let you lay frame...

BTW, the wheels came out great! What are the specs for the wheels and tires?

This would be my suggestion as well. .If you run taller plates it will affect your air pressure at ride height. By running adjustable stops your pressure will be as intended.

The wheels look great.

Started running hardlines and plumbing tanks compressors and bag lines. Also got some NOS side trim headlight bezels and grille upper and lower tail gate upper and lower. Was lucky enough to find a guy who had it all will post pics when package is opened.
