After that, just gotta figure out why the thermostatic switch isn't kicking the fans on. Just upping them now to make sure it doesn't overheat.

But it definitely feels good to have a running truck again!

Re: Major leak issue with new engine install, need any and all help guys

I used a GM performance parts one piece gasket. It wasn't horrible but it definitely tested my patience. A lot of the bolts are extremely hard to get to and keeping everything lined up was a pain. Took a good half day to get done. That was of course taking it slow with a lot of heat breaks. LOL

The part number is 10108676. Very good quality. Got up around 94 but the humidity was awful. Lol.

And should have read that it wasn't horrible. Just tedious.

I am glad to hear it is running great. Can you possibly explain in detail the TBI set up you used, I am very interested in going this route with my 87. Are you running 91 octane? I am pretty good with the stock TBI, but would live to be able to put a bit more power to the tires...

Sodell, give me some time and I will get the details together and post them up. As well as some lessons learned. There were a lot of those. Lol.

Thanks, does your engine have those separate support plates on each side of pan?
