Ok. It can be an indoor/outdoor thing. I have a large yard. As well as two large buildings. So if it rains we can do stuff in the shops. I have lots of equipment. Welders, torches, plazma cutters. As well as tons of hand tools and body tools. Longhornmail can attest to that fact as he has been here multiple times.
Bring your power steering setup and we WILL get it installed. As far as what we will need(food, utensils)just bring a few extra bucks with you. I have grocery stores only a couple miles away as well as a Wal-Mart. No need to buy what we really dont need. We can all chip in before we dig in. Save us all money that way. If anyone has parts laying around that they need installed bring them with you. I am sure there will be plenty of experienced help. Please email me any questions. I will have the previous Friday off from work. So its a 3 day weekend for me. I will be bringing some parts trucks to dismantle for fun. Camping on my property is permitted. Bring your own beer as i dont drink. But you are welcome to drink here, long as you dont want to drive afterwords. |

I'll make it up, but not in the Burb It is partially dismantled. I have a few parts I need to get from Longhornmail and Mike himself, but is there anyone coming that has a 67 or 68 hood in decent shape they want to get rid of and can bring with them? I will bring what parts I have if anyone needs anything, 70 GMC hood, burb rear doors, interior panels from 68 burb, mirrors, etc., bunch of minor parts.
Also if anyone has six lug rally's with or without tires they can get rid of inexpensively I am interested also. See you there, thanks for the invite Mike Mark

Mark540...parts? Am I forgetting something?
I'll grab anyone's second set of 6 lug rallys real cheap if I get lucky. I have a van tilt I'll be bringing that I'll be happy to trade for rims...hell, I'll even install the sucker. And yes, fine69's place is awsome. |

longhornmail, my fault it has been awhile, I had agreed to get your van tilt, and Mike the 68 radiator support. So bring the tilt along I'll take it off your hands.

Anyone interested in buying an AC/DC welder or a torch set? Or maybe trading some parts for them? I'm needing some new or like new vent window assy's, an exhaust system, or some bumpers for a 70 GMC, 3/4 ton, LWB, 2 WD,fleetside. I'll be driving a 67 Chev, 1/2 ton, LWB fleetside that's for sale or trade. ( see pic )

Dan, I may be having a guy tag along that'll be interested, he is actually looking for a long bed 68...but I doubt it'll matter much.
Mark...how much did I sell you the tilt for? I almost sold it to the UPS guy last week! |

I'm asking $750.00, OBO. It's 35 years old, what can I say? It's got rust in all the usual places, it ain't pretty, but it runs. Motor hasn't leaked since I got it. Knees hurt to bad to crawl up and check the casting numbers on the engine to find out what size it is.

Hi Andy, hey do you want me to follow you over to mike's? I saw where you said your truck's not doing so good. Mike, I like your idea about waiting til we get there, and figure out the food then. Ohio Dan are going to sell that truck? I'd be really interested at looking at it. Well let me know Andy if need any help getting there. Same goes for anyone heading South out of MI, and is coming close to Toledo area.

Yes, the 67 Chevy I'm driving to Mikes is for sale. $750. OBO. If someone buys it, or trades for it, I'll need to thumb a ride home. Anyone coming out of Dayton or Springfield that could haul my fat butt home? Here's a pic of under the hood.
Mark540 or Jewels, buy my truck and you'll have the hood you need?

jamie72, Besides the rally wheels and hood I could use a front bumper(painted) and brackets for it, 700R4(not too expensive), disk brakes for a 4 x 4(open knuckle)

I have a pump off of a 70 C/20 with a 350.
I also need a 67 - 70 front bumper...painted or chrome, don't really matter. Tom, i don't think I'll be needing anyone to spot me on the way there, I was just hauling ass on the freeway and it doesn't feel as bad as I had though. (knock on woodgrain) I'll toss my tow bar in the back of the GMC in case anyone does buy that 67, some one could buy it off of me or mail it back...or what ever. The weather will either be real wet, or real nice. Summer hasn't really hit here yet and they said on the news we should remian cool for the next couple weeks. |

Guys and gals, I've got a pair of SWB bedsides that needs the wheel lips welded in. Got the patchpanels too. If someone wants em' I'll haul em' up. They are to good to junk but not good enough for a show truck $ 125.00 for both + panels. No charge for delivery since I'm comin' anyhow LOL!!! PM or post here. Thanks Weasel

Ok. If anyone is interested here are a couple nice Hotels/Motels in my area. Both within 5 minutes of my place.
Country Hearth Inn 937-484-4120 Logan Lodge Motel 937-652-2188 Or like i said, camp at my place for free. Or there are some local campgrounds also. If the temperature is too hot there is a river within screaming distance of my house. If its rain i have room for all inside. |
