Re: My 56 step by step
To izonme13 I only have these two pics. I don't have much time to work on the truck and I am bad about stopping to take pictures. This is a 1979 El camino front clip it is hard to adapt, Mine is moved forward which makes every thing worse. My fab skills also need some work others on this board may have better ideas.

I found time to get a little done on the truck. I only have it tacked in and it still needs a little more work. Here are some pics. of what I have been working on

I was able to get the frame painted over the long weekend it has a little to much shine but it should die down some.

Re: My 56 step by step
the frame paint is nason chassis black it is to glossy for me so after the paint tacked up I sprayed on a mist coat that helped kill some of the shine

Help, please does anybody have some time for sale. Finished up the cab body work, and primed. Started smoothing the dash. This took all summer.

Re: My 56 step by step
Wow, looks good to me.
What are your plans for the controls usually on the dash? A center console, or something else? If so, will you custom make one or adapt an existing one?

Re: My 56 step by step
Thanks, for the positive comments. I am going to build a center console but not sure how or out of what. That's the way it works for me. One day I will just build it. I may also use some of the old dash space.
