Re: My "Mator" build
Well its been awhile, but here is a fast update. Iterior is almost complete. Still need a few little things like radio a/c control and door handles. But I have the fuzzy dice. LOL. The seat will have to do for now.

Re: My "Mator" build
And I just got back the front end parts from the painter. Getting closer every day. I am going over everything now and will be starting the motor this weekend after a year of sitting in the craddle.

Re: My "Mator" build
After a year and a half tear down and rebuilding, The engine roared to life last night for the first time. Scared the nighbors though. No exhaust yet and inside the garage which made it seem lauder. Next step is to install the driveline tonight and it should be under its own power. This is a huge milestone for me and my build.

Re: My "Mator" build
Well, I guess its time to get caught up. Trucks been in paint jail for about 4 months. I guess that's what I get for asking a friend to paint for me. Well below are a few more picts of where it was last time I seen it. Dropped the back 5 inch's and the front 3. Before and after

Re: My "Mator" build
I figured I wouldn't push the issue until after the holidays. I hope its worth it. Starting to loose interest since I haven't worked on it in at least 5 months.

Re: My "Mator" build
Well, the day came yesterday for paint. I sure hope the paint looks different in sun. No one to blame but myself. House of color 1125. I thought it was going to be more red. It looks good though just a little bronzy. Its good to see color though.

Re: My "Mator" build
It does look a bit more bronze than red but it is one of my favorite colors, bronze that is, as mentioned bet the sun will make a big difference and it looks good now.
