Re: Orange patinia shop truck

thanks guys. I like the way the engine bay looks now but I had to repaint my valve covers so I took the emblems off. I debating putting them back on along with this sticker on the air cleaner.

Finally got it started and got to drive it. I red necked it up and rode it all around town yesterday with no hood or innerfenders hahah. Im just glad I have something that make some racket again. it sounds pretty good too!

its dirty as hell in this picture. I was on my way to the carwash. hopefully I can get the hood on it today or tomorrow.

Looks great! Engine bay looks super clean. I don't know if I'd put the logos back on with how clean it looks....

Re: Orange patinia shop truck

thanks for all the kind words. I alllllllmost got it buttoned up tonight! its clean and the wheels are polished up a bit and it looks pretty good for an ole shop truck. Im gonna see if I can get ahold of a better camera so my pictures turn out a little better. My cell phone camera is all sorts of scratched and dirty.

Re: Orange patinia shop truck

I hope to be down that way at least once in May...will have to check ahead and see if you'll be available when I'm passing through....would love to check it out in person...if you run across a truck similar (or with more patina) in your area let me know...I've been searching ebay and craigslist for a runner that I can tinker on for a while now...

Im not really sure, they were on the truck when I got it but they do look like camaro mirrors. I know they are in the lmc book as a universal mirror.
