Beautiful truck for sure.
When I first saw this thread I really was doubtful on autronic being used in 1967, I don't think it was. I feel that some of these options were dealer added for show purposes. Scroll down this link about 3/4 way and look at the serial number listing for the various GM divisions:

That is correct. They were dealer adds. I should make it home in the light tomorrow to snap a few more photos.

Cool truck!
The auto dimmer on the dash looks just like one my buddy had in his '63 Cadillac.

Re: 22k original mile beauty

I think it's interesting that the gauge bezel is body colored like a GMC, I wonder if that was done when the 8-track was installed?? Also looking forward to more pics.

Remember the phrase " A sucker born every minute "? It's ok to accept, but wiser to verify before doing something extreme. Theres plenty of unconventional stuff on this one, IMO, it appears to be a resto mod.

Interested also - it looks a lot like an aftermarket vac gauge I had in a previous truck - mine was a stewart warner, but it fit the hole in the 64-66 dash perfectly. Many other brands/sizes were available at parts stores and used to be a bit more common of an add-on. I like it! SPID! SPID! SPID!!!! Ha! Rusty, you're the main attraction on here!

Re: 22k original mile beauty

It looks like to many things changed for it to be a reference for restoration. There is no way to know what was dealer installed from new to what has been added as the owner saw fit. I do know a lot of crazy stuff could be bought by people with connections in the auto business. A lot of cars and trucks were special ordered with options not in the brocures. My parents had a customer at their Kennel business that was a Chrysler executive and had a Satellite wagon with a Road Runner nose and drive train. All factory assembled
