Re: 85 swb c10 project "ole blue" build

Well finally got her home!..couldn't be more happy with the color and detail done..pics don't do it justice,it shines like a mirror.

Now I get to be super cautious putting it back together..think I'll wrap it in bubble wrap haha

That is an awesome price on that turbo, and your truck is looking killer!! Are you going to run a carb?

Thanks..That was just for the hot side of the turbo kit,not including turbo...I'm not going carb,I'm leaving it fuel injected

Re: 85 swb c10 project "ole blue" build

If you don't mind me asking did you just weld those holes up where trim used to be because mine was missing trim when I bought it and I want close them up the right way but without a lot of filler or fiberglass. Thanks and truck looks sweet btw nice job man.

Re: 85 swb c10 project "ole blue" build

Yea I just welded the holes up from the trim screws...thanks for the compliments guys,I'm ready to get this thing atleast fired up soon...

Here are a few pics of intercooler/radiator mock up..im still up in the air on painting the intercooler black..there will also be a big trans cooler in front of the IC..that will be black to if I go that route..I think if I don't paint them they will stick out like a sore thumb behind the black grill..

IMO in no way is an intercooler a "sore thumb" lol. your truck is awesome. Maybe its kind of ricer but I like the way my transmission cooler looks behind the grill. I even get compliments.
