I saw your other thread where you painted the rims and had the white hubcaps on them. The tires might look better with the white letters out. I'm sure once you see the tires and wheels together you'll make that final decision.

Looking at your avatar pic... the whitewall and white caps are the only things that define that you have wheels on the truck... With the black wheels, wheel wells, and body, the tires blend in. I'd go with white letters to offer a contrast to all the black.

Im leaning towards letters out now ? Special K said a speed shop truck would be bare bones which is technically true BUT what if the truck belonged to a wealthy speed shop owner that sold Mickey Thompson tires ? LOL

Well my tires came in today , its snowing and cold I guess I will be mounting and balancing them in the kitchen LOL I still ain't sure if I'm gonna run them one way or the other may have to try the white letters and if I don't like them flip them ???? But they are going on the truck TODAY ! THAT MUCH I KNOW !

Since you're mounting them, I say one side black the other white letters out. I almost I'd it that way, but I did want to hassle with taking it back to the tire shop for the swap. Take some pictures and you know you will get a ton of comments from us.

Now if you painted your wheels red to match the lettering on the doors I would definitly go black wall. Not to confuse the issue....

These rims are DEEP ! These are not original GM well they are but they were standard wheels they have been split and a band welded in to make them 9" wide , I love the way this is gonna look ! I will install the front tires and take more pics when I get home tommorow , these wheels have a cool look the dish looks different than the ones GM made they have a straight band where as the GM ones have a step , nothing at all against the GM ones but I think these are extra cool !
