Re: Parting 1972 cheyenne C20 Big block truck

Thanks Jud - lmk when poss. Yeah I'm still on the fence about that K20 - If I really had space for it I'd grab it. The floor pan has a lot of full thickness rust that involves the cab supports. Would be a good candidate for me to learn how to weld maybe. Later this year after I've been able to purchase a place here I'll begin to hoard more trucks. That grain rack it has is too cool.

Let me see if I can find something local, if I can't I'll see of you still have. Thanks!

Do you happen to have the headlight retainer rings? The rings that hold the headlight to the buckets? If so how much set to 93635
Thanks

Kinda rough $25 shipped but I've got a super nice set too for more, probably $125 shipped or so but you won't find a nicer set of originals.

Re: Parting 1972 cheyenne C20 Big block truck

Jud,
I noticed the seat was gone - but not sure if you removed it or it was never there in the first place. IF you do have it - I could use a set of the hog ring attachment rods from the old seat cover... Should be 1 long one and 2 short ones in the seat back and 2 long ones (I think) in the seat bottom. There might be more than that, but I need a whole set.

They are the somewhat bendable, squiggly little metal rods that run through the fabric hoops/tunnels that hold the seat covers onto the frames.

Don't need the seat cover, just those pesky little rods. Most people toss these anyway it seems! Like I said, there might be more than I've mentioned used on a single bench seat. Thanks!
Mark

Mark, This truck didn't have a seat when I got it but I've maybe got another seat here that would have the rods, let me check when I'm home.

Dennis, Got your payment, thank you. I can include the wire if you can give me a couple more days to go pull one from my row of trucks out back.

Pete, master cylinder looks clean but appears to be locked up when I push on brake pedal.

I'm looking for a light blue defroster vent for the drivers side. Will take a pair if needed. Could also use a factory radio wiring harness.

Let me know what you have.

Pete, you may just want to pick up an old crusty one for a core exchange. I got a reman booster and MC from oreillys for $100 or so and I think the core charge was about $40.

Is that for both of the vents? Also could use one of the pieces that goes between the door handle and metal door panel on a 68-71. Also in a light blue color. Did the cigarette lighter sell yet? How much for it? I dont need the assembly that mounts in the dash, just the lighter piece.

And how would you like to be paid. I will take the vents and radio harness(wire).

Price was for the one vent and I will throw in the lighter. Escutcheon is the blue trim piece that it sounds like you're looking for. I don't have one but you can buy reproductions.

Re: Parting 1972 cheyenne C20 Big block truck

I'm interested in the under-hood A/C parts. My truck is an A/C truck, but all the engine compartment pieces were missing. I have the firewall box, just not the evaporator core, condenser, and the related parts.

Are you willing to split up A/C parts. I'm interested in all the engine compartment pieces.

Thanks.

All parts are sold, nothing is left of this truck but I've got a 67 GMC with AC that I'm going to be parting in a few weeks.
