Re: Parting Out 1972 Chevy 1/2 Ton Custom Deluxe (Highlander)

I will try to find and get pictures of seat cover hog rings, visor clips, and the inner fender by the end of the day tomorrow. Standby...

Re: Parting Out 1972 Chevy 1/2 Ton Custom Deluxe (Highlander)

Jocko: Hopefully I've got this right. I have two short squiggly rods, three long squiggly rods, one very long u-shaped one with hooks at either end, and two L-shaped ones with hooks at either end.

They are rusty, but if you send them down and repaint them, they should be salvageable.

Any suggestions on how to ship?

Jake1971:

The inner passenger fender is really bad. The whole front end is gone (under the battery tray). I have the driver's side inner fender, which has a bit of cancer on the front end at the bottom, but easily repairable I'd imagine. The engine emission sticker is in really good shape and the rest of the inner fender is pretty rust free and no dents. Again, that's the driver's side I have.

That's what I need! Thanks for digging. Shipping a pain probably, could probably cut the long ones in half for the thick rods and ship em in a USPS tube? As for the thin ones, can gently coil them and ship in a flat, large envelope maybe. Just let me know, I seem to come across seats that are always missing these, so have feelers out for a few sets - and I'd love to get these! Thanks very much.

I've been hunting like crazy for the past few days, and I can't find the visor clips. But if I find them in the future, I'll keep you in mind.

I amy never get to use it myself but you can rest assured it will be used on a 67-72 one day and until then it will be protected hanging on the wall in my garage.
