Re: lets see your custom touches
I can add some more here.
Under the hood cheap lighting almost any car has them. Mercury switch lights come on automatic when you open your hood. Redid a SS Chevelle steering wheel and wrapped it in leather myself. Added a late model truck mirror with compass and temperature reading.

Re: lets see your custom touches
It looks like a dash out of a 59 Impala. By far one of the best dashes to ever come from the General.

Re: lets see your custom touches
Why doesn't anyone cut the dash for a 7" GPS/Radio/CD/DVD/Bluetooth/Telephone receiver? Is there not enough room behind it for one of those to fit? Just wondering why?

Re: lets see your custom touches
For the navigation I could see depth being a possible issue or having to give up either your ashtray or ac vent or both
As for depth it wouldn't be hard to extend it outward really if that's what a guy wanted |

Re: lets see your custom touches
I'm only embarrassing myself after posting behind jtp67-72 and ryanroo, but here is my junk. I'll definitely be stealing some ideas from the cool touches in this thread! Sorry for the washed out pics of the body...

Re: lets see your custom touches
Kindig-it Designs. They are flush mounted in the door - you push in on the 'spoon' part, which pivots in the door and the 'lever/handle' part comes out and the door opens. They are pretty slick. I was gonna hold out on pics until I got it painted, but I went ahead and let the cat out of the bag.

Re: lets see your custom touches
Well, looking at your fab & welding skills you won't have ANY trouble making that happen!
