Are you copying me? I also am planning on two Porterbuilt tank mounts two 3 gallon tanks and dual compressors. May just be the Alabama air causing people to think the same.

Yeah, looks like the ole guy bumped it into something. I'm not going to "fix" it but I am going to try to straighten it out enough to put the trim piece back on it and fix the fender/hood gap.

No real update, but instead of using the McGaughy big brake kit that I already have, I bought Wilwood 140-10776-d 6 piston front kit, Wilwood 140-10093-d 4 piston rear kit, CPP modular 2 inch drop spindle. I guess I'll put the McGaughy kits back on my GMC.

I may be able to finally answer Keith's (Lolife99) question about how the track width is affected by different spindles. I will have a set of stock 70 drum spindles, 72 disc spindles, 73 up spindles, McGaughy big brake spindles, 73 up McGaughy HD drop spindles, CPP new style (modular ???) HD drop spindles, and finally the modular drop spindles. I will probably just mock up a jig to do my measurements...damn installing & removing all these different spindles on a truck .

Well just went through all your builds and have to say this is my favorite. In for the build.

Good looking mustang. The pic with all the parts reminds me of when I was living in Indy. My buddy and I swapped cars for the day. He took my coupe and I took his 90 LX. His car had no back seat, was a race car and bright Orange. I had to deliver some product that day for work. I had that car crammed full of home audio gear. The look on the client's face was priceless as I showed up in it and trying to get all the boxes out of the passenger seat, around the roll cage and out from under the nitrous tank.

Yeah, I've had a BUNCH of Fox body Mustangs over the course of the last 25 years. I'm confident (sorta, anyway) that this will be my last one though. It's a fun car, just not very practical, and I have plenty of impractical vehicles, so I may take it to a few shows this Spring and see if someone wants it more than me .

Hey Keith,

Any recommendation or insight on which balljoint is the "smaller" shaft upper & lower ball joints so I can throw them in an extra set of control arms that I have, so I can bolt all of the spindles in place on the same BJ. I figure even if they're a little small, it won't affect the measurement as long as it's tightened down...right? Any certain generation control arms that I should use? I probably have them all

I just saw this.
The 63-70 ball joints have the smallest taper.
I don't think it matters on the a-arms.
67-72 or 73-87 should be the same physical dimensions.

Okay, perfect. I can just bolt all of them on Walt to get my measurement. That's better than any jig. I am going to try and work on this over the Xmas holidays if the weather and family permit
