It was all there.
I'm still needing drop spindles, 2" drop front, and 5" drop rear spring if anybody has some.

nice teaching a class students actually want to learn. at my high school we had to beg the admin to have a class like this, in 1973 they said ok and we had a front engine dragster donated. so much fun building that rail. took it to irwindale raceway to race and the school flipped out you can build a race car but you cant race it. ended up selling it, but that experience sat the foundation for a life long relationship with custom cars.

Friday I went by No Limit Engineering and Rob hooked us up with one of their rear Trac bars and shock relocators. He is working on a new tranission crossmember and said it would be ready in two weeks. Thanks Rob

The guys got the bottom of cab rhino lined and then they decided to do the firewall before I knew it --- what do you guys think?

Really love that you are doing this with the students! So many school systems don't have any technical programs. And the problem solving skills learned on their truck build are transferable to any educational or career path they follow. Good for you and good luck!

Great job passing on these skills to the next generation. When I was in school "many years ago" we put a 350 in a Chevy Luv. That was a blast.

Thank you and everyone else that has encouraged us with the project - the students are staying very interested and are working hard. They are doing all the work, I'm just supervising - I must have been napping when the firewall got painted. They like it and are wanting to do the inner fenders and radiator support the same way. I kind of like the idea of not having to sand to perfection - bedliner paint is very forgiving.

Remind them 'too much of a good thing' can still be too much. I wouldn't do firewall, inner wells, & core support. Some contrast is appealing.

I was thinking about your project and how you all were doing with it. Will you have to go two weeks longer this spring before summer break?

We go an extra 30min. everyday throughout the year and that builds us 13 days that we can miss before we have to make up any days. We also have a week of spring break that we can also use up if we have to.

We are using a truck pump, and they are made different there and there is not a lot of material there to tap into. Plus the fact that it is a big sensor and just doesn't hide good out there in front.

yeah i forgot how akward the truck water pump is factory. ive changed my truck pump to accept a -16AN upper fitting and -20AN lower fitting. but i do like the fact that you are hiding the senor (in a sense)
