Nick, no problem, 3 others interested. More worried about the engine and trans selling, i hate to scrap them and im surprised there isnt interest in an original 396 and th400! oil and inside valve covers looks good on the bbc, need to try to turn it over.

Please PM me your address so I can mail the $25 for the air cleaner base. To save you some $, you can cut the base. I only need intake snout with about 2-3 inches of the air cleaner attached around the base of the snout. Thank you, Bruce

No its tucked away in one of my dads sheds waiting on me to come and get it. If I wasnt deep into my wifes suburban build, Id send my dad over there to pick up that big block. I hope it dont get scrapped. Maybe let me know if it dont sell and I'll see what I can come up with.

I'll take the 4 core brackets... would like to ship with all the other stuff if the other guy doesn't take them. Putting a 402 in my 71 k10 and my motor is missing everything.

So, what is the story on the engine? Any history on it?

Eric, looks like it was in service when the distributor caught fire. Carb isn't burned and oil looks good and inside valve covers is good. Will see if she turns over tomorrow. Looks original judging by the thick layer of grease on it. 396 is on SPID. Price is cheap, worth a shot I would think.

Waylon, the AC control has a broken lever sorry.

I got the BBC to turn over by grasping the front pulley firmly and turning.
