It's never a 20" vs 22" vs 24" wheel issue.
It's always a "total tire height" issue.

Re: Fast N' Loud square body build

Watched the show last night. Regardless of opinions on the show, it's a cool project, and I'm glad to see squares represented.

I respect that they are going 2 tone with it, keeping all the chrome, etc. I saw pics on Facebook of it done, and it's wicked.

Not my preference of stance, but looks like it is going to be a sweet truck when it's done. I wish I could go through the dumpster they threw all the stuff into they weren't going to re-use!

Re: Fast N' Loud square body build

I was excited to see that they were going to do this truck, been waiting for one since they mostly just do the F100s.

The girlfriend and I watch the show every week..... because we have a sense of humor. I may not always like the vehicle that they are doing or what they are doing to them, but I do watch the show.

Re: Fast N' Loud square body build

I agree with the fella that said if you don't like it watch "dancing with the stars" . It's just a T.V show. I for one think its cool their spot lighting the trucks we all love.
Some people would ***** if you handed them a 20$ that it shoulda been a fifty.

I watch the show and was super stoked to see them do a squarebody. I laughed when Aaron said he didn't want the interior to look like a LMC catalog.

I'm sure it was just for tv an they had the build planned longer than it showed but it must be nice to get the full tilt porterbuilt package with no wait....

I was thinking that as well! "Did they have to wait 10-12 weeks"

Re: Fast N' Loud square body build

seen on the buildlog from his newest creation that the maker of sloshtubs has been at monkey garage with his truck when they where building it , he prolly has quite a few pics as whell he couldn't show at the time as the series hadnt aired yet

i think if porterbuiild got a call from monkey garage for an expedite set of the setup in trade for the free advertizing on tv they wouldnt think twice to pull a set that was meant to be send to a customer that was allready waiting 12 weeks just to get it to texas in 2 days

I highly doubt Porterbuilt gave GMG another customers parts.
Do you really think that TV show plays out in the timeline the viewers see?
All episodes are highly planned out from the beginning.

Re: Fast N' Loud square body build

Bought the entire building so he could get the truck...he's a financial genius! Short wide squarebodies are all over Texas, even at the $4K - $5K they were talking, it's about twice what it should be.
I'm a lot more old school than many here, don't understand the appeal of being able to put the frame on the ground. Just a good stance with wheels slightly tucked would have had more appeal to old farts like me.

I've seen pictures of the interior with the matching handbag. However, I was made to promise not to show them.

Handbag?

Those are some seriously tucked front wheels. Do dropmembers with porterbuilt a-arms always pull the wheels in that much?

Its not a "handbag" as in purse. Its a leather duffel bag made by HIX interiors, and its awesome.
