POR-15 the frame today
Before -- Blasted it with a pressure washer, then wire brush and wire wheel. The differential was a PITA for sure |

Looks like the soreness was worth it. They look so good when the frame gets all cleaned up and has a nice coat of paint on it. The console restoration turned out super-nice, and the look of that polished grill has me contemplating having mine polished. Did you have any dents in the grill or trim that needed to be dealt with? And if so, did you do that, or did the shop which did the polishing do that?

Was the trim anodized after polishing? Or clear coated to keep it from oxidizing?

Scuffed it up good with scotchbrite
Sprayed some adhesion promoter Then SEM Landau Black Color Coat Paint For the trim, I just cleaned the ring up with some 0000 steel wool and wd-40 I got a nice ashtray from the junkyard I used some 3M marine teak for the woodgrain New hardware from local store |
