Slow progress on rear the last couple days with Easter. Made little progress sat and today. Got bump stops drilled off. Bottom part for springs done, just need to unbolt top. Hopefully get that done tomorrow and then get ready to start cutting for c notch.

Trucks coming along nicely. The numbers on the guard are 27 3/8" and 65 1/2" center to center if you want to check your frame to see what would be involved.

Re: Texas Patina 1963 SWB

Thought I would post a little up date. Found old roof rack from a friends old house he just bought. Put it on and got rear bagged. Just a few more small things and she will be ready to drive.

I will leave 6 just like it is, I have some old patina speed parts for the 6, but I don't think I am going to use them.

Re: Texas Patina 1963 SWB

Thanks the roof rack was a nice patina find. A friend of mine had it at a old house he bought. It's really a nice touch. I was thrilled getting it. Thanks again.

Now if I can hurry up and get a few things done on truck, then I can get back to bagging my 1960 patina parkwood wagon.

I was going to put new windshield in, but I don't think I can afford to lose NRA sticker.

Re: Texas Patina 1963 SWB

You guys have any ideas on some tires sizes for the truck. 205 70 15 for front or 225 70 15 rear. skinny white walls. Any of you guys have pics of these trucks lowered with tire sizes. Or any ideas. I will be using stock 15x5 or 15x6 rims.
