from what i read you can drill and tap the top of your water pump(with it off the motor,so it can be flushed) for a 90* barb fitting, get a fitting put in the radiator or make a tee for one of the heater hoses. probably too late but there you go.
is your paint 524 red orange? i painted my chebby 524 with a white top.

could you by chance post a few pics of how those 98 manifolds fit and what you used for mounts/crossmember clearancing?

Thanks. I ended up using radiator and coolant overflow out of the donor truck. The paint is Summit racing hugger orange. I will take pics in the am.

The motor mount adapters ar off of eBay they are adjustable forward or back. I had to modify the lower radiator mount a little other than that it fit great. Used the factory 72 radiator brackets.

Update : painted box last night. Used the cherry picker this morning and pit the box on. Made a little box for the fuel filler inside the box.

Re: The Mad 72 k20

Well everything is painted. Drove it about 40 miles yesterday and about 55 today. The only issues I have so far. Transmission might need a new vacuum modulator. The rearend has a pretty good howl. I changed the fluid going to run it for a while see what happens.
