Some nice stuff on this thread. I'll throw a couple of mine on the pile. Handmade grille, cowl hood, front bumper, rear light bar. Shaved doors and tailgate. Handmade strereo panel and console.

Re: What is your best mod???

A couple of more of mine. I made my smooth bumper.

I made the cold air setup out of a 90 model Caddy air box and a couple of fitting from Lowes.

Made the 6.0 LS motor cover also.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

I've got small box speakers under my seat too, sounds pretty good.

Mercedes Benz actually had that at one time.

But I'm thinking it would be easier to use a stock 3 sp shifter and have a separate reverse lever. Maybe a servo and a button? LOL

How do you plan to do it?

I would love to see someone install a button select shifting like the old Desotos and Chrysler Imperials

Welding is a lot like sex, you don't have to be great with the rod as long as you thoroughly prep the surface and your good at grinding
