Re: my twin turbo sleeper nova
so once I had the turbos back on, I started in on making my cold side piping.
there isn't a lot of room under the hood, so I had to do some tight, weird bends, to clear everything... here are some progress pics

Re: my twin turbo sleeper nova
so switching gears for a minute, this will be a temporary, but necessary, fix, until I get to re-doing the rear suspension... so I added some much needed sub-frame connectors..

Very nice work! I followed your short step build years ago and it really helped to plan and build my own truck. I'm glad I found your new project! Looks killer.

Re: my twin turbo sleeper nova
if you notice in some of the pics, the underhood fuses and relays, that I had mounted to the core support, interfered with the driver side turbo inlet. so I had to relocate them, running out of room under the hood, I found a spot for them by the master cylinder.. so after I made a home for them, I lengthened wires as necessary, re-loomed them, and installed..

Re: my twin turbo sleeper nova
so my next step in the turbo build up was the cold side piping from the inner-cooler to the intake throttle body... with this whole twin turboing, there isn't much room to make everything fit, so I was going to make the piping go from the TB up top, through my inner fenders, and snake its way to the IC, but going that way put the pipe blocking the view of the turbos (which this is a major focal point) so I didn't much like this idea... after looking, measuring, and mocking some things up, I came up with it coming off the IC, and coming up from the bottom, not subtracting from the "cool view" factor.... here are some of the progress pics

Re: my twin turbo sleeper nova
once the cold side piping was made, I located the blow off valves, these were the last pieces I had that needed to clear everything. so I found a suitable location for them, that didn't interfere with the hood, and looked good.. so here is what I came up with

Re: my twin turbo sleeper nova
So, this innercooler is a dual core, single inlet, single outlet. The cores are not connected internally, so think of it as the upper inlets and outlets are connected , and the lower inlets and outlets are connected too. After i had all my pipes made, i realized i had both my turbo outlets going to the top ports of the IC and both bottom ports going to my TB, small over sight
So i had to do some modifications to the driver side cold side piping. I had to now make my turbo outlet go to the bottom port of the IC, and the TB pipe go to the top port of IC. So you caught my huge mistake, and yes ive got it corrected now. I too caught it when i finished it, step back to admire, then thought "crap", the pipes going to the intercooler I had going to the wrong ones, so I had to cut one pipe down(first pic), and re-clock it to a existing pipe. in the end, it turned out nicely, and now they are routed correctly. I also welded a bead on the ends of the pipes, so the clamp would hold 'mo betta' under boost.. here is the pipes and intercooler broken down getting ready to get painted.

Impressive how you've made it all fit. Time for a new alternator so it matches all of the other shiny under there?

Re: my twin turbo sleeper nova
update.. took the piping to get painted, so I turned my attention to mounting the eboost2 controller, and my wideband gauge.
I was going to mount them on the A pillar, but looking at it from the back of the car (like if you were driving behind me) you could see them quite easily, so next I temporarily mounted them to the top of the dash, same results (easily seen from behind).. so then I was looking for a hidden, yet easily seen area. I came up with the ash tray area. Im not going to use the ash tray, so I figured hidden behind the ash tray door would be perfect. so I made a mounting bracket for the gauges, did some trimming of the ash tray area, and now the gauges have a new (stealthy)home.. so once the tuning is done, and im not constantly looking at the gauges, im going to make the ash tray door slide/hinge out of the way, and then for the hidden look, it'll slide/hinge back to the factory location, and look stock... I also located, and installed my eboost2 wastegate solenoid, this allows me to control the boost PSI from inside the car, on the fly too... its a really cool boost controller, from what ive read on it.. once solenoid was mounted, I then ran my vacuum lines to the WGs, and the solenoid.

Re: my twin turbo sleeper nova
and my turbo guard screens came in, these are a fine screen mesh, that filter out debris from getting sucked in the turbo inlets.. I may also get some type of filter, but for now, im going to run these..

Re: my twin turbo sleeper nova
lastly, I pulled the intake off, so I can re-do the fuel system. with the TT setup, its going to require more fuel, so when I did the tank, I went ahead and got a GPA-6 pump, witch is capable of supporting 1000HP. So I dropped the tank, and for my feed line, I switched the -6AN line in favor of a -8AN line. So from the tank I ran -8AN line, to a fuelab inline fuel filter, then from the filter up to the intake manifold, then it 'Y's off going to each of the fuel rails, through the rails, to a bypass fuel pressure regulator, then to a -6AN return line.
The intake manifold was also loaded up with 95LB 1000cc injectors, a 3 bar map sensor, and I also in-addition to running a fuel pressure gauge on the regulator, Im going to run a electric one, so I can monitor the FP on the Dakota digital VHX gauges.
