Re: Rack bodies,Dump bodies,Flat beds

This one is not as old as the rest, but it works every day. 300 HP 3126 Caterpillar, 9 Spd, Eaton-Fuller.

Actually I have built this truck three times, twice since this pic was taken. It looks better now but I don't have a pic.

I think those are handsome trucks. I'd like to have one of these last great trucks in the long GM line.

These trucks have more character than the current ones. I have posted this one before in another thread but I'm pretty proud of them. It also has a 300 HP Caterpillar w/Eaton-Fuller 9 spd tranny. I have another one that's a single axle dump with the high visibility (sloped) hood.

I agree they are pretty good looking trucks.

Like the 9-Speed part that they both have.

Keith,
I recently got a 1950 6400 dump. Looks just like yours but has a grain bed on it. Do you happen to know how much weight it can carry? I need to haul gravel.

Thanks
Chuck

They drove nice, my company had a bunch of single axle 5yd. dumps with the 366/Allison.

Keith.
I have a later model 6500. I would start out with 4 yds of gravel and work from there.

No, it's locked in the shop in North Central Arkansas.
