Personally, I'd go with a black tonneau with chrome snaps on your truck. I white tonneau is a real bear to keep clean.

The stock rear lamp setup looks great on your truck. Maybe it is the white paint

I wish I could take the credit, fell in love with it at first site. I was looking for a fixer upper to toy with. Had it towed 200 miles to the house, pushed it in the garage. Hasn't moved for the two months I'ved owned it, only get to work on it on the weekends. The person I got it from inherited it from his grandad, the original owner. Gonna make a great daily driver.

I still havn't decided on the tonneau yet. I've got a shop here in town going to make the frame and cover as soon as I make up my mind. Same with the wheels, can't decide.

Bought it in June from a dude that had owned it 24 years. No rust, doesn't need rockers or anything. Paid 1200 for it.

So far, I've done a 4.5/6 drop with 5 lug conversion, disc brakes, big swaybar, all that crap. Got a 454 on the engine stand waiting to drop in.

Got it form a guy who was leaving California to play offensive line for U of North Carolina. He drpve it hard, if the grooves on the inside of the front brake drums are an indication. Getting new front discs (from Early Classic.com) and rear drums and ball joints right off the bat.

Needs left rocker, bed work, side mirrors, grill etc., and eventually a new paint job. Taking suggestions for colors.

Hope it gets me to Washougal.
